I seem to be finding myself want to write, everyday. For the past 2 weeks or so. Maybe there is something in the air? That i dont know, but here I am… My name is JL, im a typical teenager just trying new things… (tumblr for instance.)
On to my post; I find it funny that someone who you used to hate, and feel such feelings of dislike towards, could later grow to be your biggest inspiration. A good friend of mine (who has chosen to stay anonymous) Has a knack for being a leader, and an inspiration to others.. He has made me want to do very very miniscule things, (but hey, its the small things that count. Right?) Things like, run during 6th period track, when i don’t necessarily HAVE to, Write my feelings, ideas, and thoughts, and just to overall speak my mind. He also helped me realize that we teenagers are a primitive class of human being, and we tend to follow trends and do what is “in style”. When its our uniqueness that makes us who we are as individuals. This one friend of mine, is the person that helped me realize the faults of our generation as well as other things has been called every name in the book. Annoying, Cheap, A Bitch, A Fag, A Douche, A Sexist, A Racist, probably some other things to go along… but nobody would dare call this person fake, just in the fact that he is himself 24/7… He does not strive to be his heros and inspirations, but to instead surpass them and learn from them, which is something the teenagers of this era don’t quite understand yet.
